that team features a QB some call "legendary" or the best ever in college history.  Michigan takes it on the chin against what some might call a semi-professional team (only semi because apparently some of the athletes are getting paid.. Reggie Bush?) and suddenly the conference is terrible.  They are slow.  They are mongrols; they can't throw the ball.. they can't stop the spread.

Smith and an underrated FAU offense will rebound from being completely shut down last week against Michigan State.  The pass-happy conditions of the Metrodome should favor the Owls as well.  Look for this game to be the first of many for the Gophers this season where the loss of RB Duane Bennett becomes quite noticeable.
