Fresno State +8.5 vs. Wisconsin. (Wisconsin had over 30 people sick with a 2 day flu bug and only beat Northern Illinois by 8. Fresno State is a better opponent and is not afraid of playing big competition. Ryan Mathews can run the ball all day and Fresno will play tough enough defense against the Badgers)

Week 13 College Football Preview
Last week: 5-0 Season: 22-16
This weeks picks: Penn St, Utah, Orgn St, TX Tech, BC, TCU, Boi St, E Car
Its sounds like a broken record by now but yet again the game of the week is in the Big 12 south. This game could decide who will end up in the National Championship game. Texas Tech will be going on the road for this big showdown unlike the other ones which were played in Lubbock, TX. Tech still seems too not get any respect by the odds makers as they are a seven point dog to the sooners. I wonder if the number two team in the nation has ever been such a big dog. I think OU will win this game but I am take Tech and the point, hopefully this game will not disappoint like some many others this year.

Week 12 College Football Preview
Last Week: 3-3 Season: 17-16
Weeks Picks: Cinci (-4), Va Tech (+4), USC (-22), OSU (-3), Oregon (-3.5), BYU (-4)
I have to say I am very impressed by the Texas Tech football team. I really believe there would be a hang over from the prior week and lay an egg vs. Ok State but hey went out and proved they are an elite team. They still have a couple more tough games but I am stating to believe they can run the table and be in the national championship game. Then again I wouldn’t be surprised if they lost vs. Oklahoma in two weeks.

So far in this experiment we have one bet open pending tonight outcome of UCONN vs Louv. We used 10 units on that bet so we are down to 90.
This weekend I would like to see if teasers are really a suckers bet or not. I feel bookies are really good at what they do. They usually know exactly where the line should be, thus by getting 6 or 7 points more you are using the handy cappers knowledge against him by giving youself a buffer. I have 3 4 team teasers for Saturday games. Lets see how they do.

Just wanted to make a quick post here on a couple of things that I missed from my last entry.
Bet with your pockets, not with your heart - If you're a [insert favorite team here] fan and you think your team is going to win every game, I wish you luck. However, odds are your team is not going to go undefeated, and I would bet everything on the fact that they will not cover every spread. Personally, I stay away from betting my team at all - this is just my own preference, but it is the smart thing to do. First of all, if you bet them as an underdog and they lose the game but cover the spread, where is the satisfaction? On the other side, if you bet on your team and they win but don't cover the spread, you still aren't happy. Obviously there will be games where everything works out for you, but the percentage probably isn't very high.

Today marks the beginning of an era. If you are reading this blog, I already know that you are a college football fan. What this website exists for, is to inform and entertain. Although sports betting will be one of my main topics, I will also discuss games from the prospective of a fan. Let me start by giving you a brief backgroung on myself. I am originally from New York, currently living in Tampa, Florida. I am a diehard Yankees, Jets, and Knicks (yes, the New York Knicks) fan, and my college teams are Penn State and UNC. I have enjoyed sports as long as I can remember, and started betting probably about four years ago.
