The infighting between Raiders owner Al Davis and Lane Kiffin is ongoing this week with Kiffin's job possibly on the line. Davis has threatened to fire the young coach, even after the team drubbed the Chiefs on the road this weekend 23-8, and finally scored a meaningful touchdown.
The fact remains that it would be a miracle if the Raiders can survive and flourish under such hazy and devisive conditions. Its definitely not the ideal scenario for a young team that needs strong leadership. Forget wobbly passes thrown by JaMarcus. We have a powerless lame duck as a coach. Until a decision is made, to can or not to can, the Raiders will be in a state of Football limbo, unable to rise itself from the mire created by the owner out of touch with modern football and unwill to relinquish control.
