It's been awhile, a loooonnnnng while.  Lots has changed since the last time I posted on here.  In fact, the NBA season kicked off; The Office started up again, The Community is taking my Thursdays by storm.  Some things haven't changed:  The Pac-10 is overrated, my team can't win, and I'm still the man.  All in all; I guess people have missed my thoughts and were begging for more.

I was going to do a fantasy football preview for the week, until I realized I deleted last weeks email with the records and opponents for the week, so there is no real update.  I have the rankings posted below, so you can check those out.  That's about it.  I do, however, want to clear the air on a few things.  Certain members of this prestigious league that has been around for 3 years now (we're ahead of our time, no big deal) are starting to take this a little too seriously.  We have an interesting array of characters here.

This is a joke.  The NFL just fined Chad Ochocinco $20,000 for a fake bribe that he offered a ref on a play review.  He did it openly and with $1; if you want to fine him okay.  I am cool with that, but $20,000?  Honestly?

The worst part about the entire thing is that DeAngelo Hall gets in a fight on a sideline and is fined... NOTHING.  There was a big rucus with Falcolns HC Mike Smith during the Redskins/Falcolns game and as far as I know Ochocinco's fine exceeded any fined handed out for a FIGHT during a game!

I'm not saying you shouldn't fine Ochocinco, but I am saying that a fake bribe of an official is worth a lot less than somebody fighting.  How is fighting more acceptable than this?  Anybody?  Anybody?

There is a first time for everything; people typically say this after something downright amazing happens.  I've also heard of this being used on pick up lines many times while dominating the drinking establishments in Madison, Wisconsin.  Typically; your Average Joe with a nobody name and even less game will launch it out there to a fine East Coast hunny.  "I don't leave the bars without my friends," or "I don't like guys that play World of Warcraft for 12 hours straight."  Person X that just got dissed/rejected gets a smirk and offers, "Well, there's a first time for everything."  Don't lie; you've used it yourself or know somebody that has.  This is one of those cases; something amazing happens.  I'm not getting rejected, but I am posting a rewind from the past week.. yes, ladies and gentlemen.  Much like when communist Russia fell.. The Buccaneers got an NFL win this season.. there is a 1st time for everything!

It's happened again; we're doing another season review and just in time.. a certain team that was once 1-9 and down in the dumps rattled off their 2nd straight win.  No big deal.

Joe vs. Dowden
--These two middle ranked teams are neck and neck.  T-Raz openly admits to not liking Joe, and since he's never even met him Honest Abe Lincoln's quote, "I don't like that man.. I think I'll have to get to know him better," must not have entered T-Raz's brain.  Ever.  He's a man of hatred, plain and simple.  Sadly, for him, Tim Tebow's record setting day wasn't enough to put him over the top as Joe rode an Alabama defense to victory.  Pretty pathetic for T-Raz considering the fact that Joe got 0 points from his QB.  It looks like another sad season in T-Raz land; I guess he knows what it feels like to be a kid living in the ghetto with Christmas around the corner... he's down and out.
