College Fantasy Football Preview-- The Mouth

Give a man a gun and a badge and the next thing you know, he thinks he's the sheriff.  That's how I feel about the Mouth aka Cherns.  The Mouth of the South.  By the way, how racist is the end of the video?  Wow, nice job, WWF.  You let a guy do the spreadsheet for the entire league, and a great spreadsheet it is.. and the next thing you know he's trying to power himself into position to run the entire league.  He's not shy about calling out opponents or telling the league how busy he is.. no matter what the topic, he's got an opinion.  He's our Lane Kiffin, good or bad.. we love the guy.  Sometimes.

QB:  A solid monopoly of Texas Tech and Florida's QB's.  I think Brantley starts the majority of the year here, and frankly, who can complain with the success Urban Meyer has had with QB's at the schools he's been at.  They can play, run and pass.  Brantley is no different and will be the face of the franchise for the next few seasons.  Oh, and Texas Tech's QB's can put up some numbers as well.

RB:  Daniel Thomas is really a train.  I'm not even joking.  Kendall "Big Game" Hunter is an animal.  (If you click any link, click the "Big Game" one, absolutely hilarious.  Brent Petway.  HAHAHA)  LaMichael James can score at will in Oregon's spread attack and Jeff Demps is going to get a lot of Tim Tebow's carries.  Monte Ball is potentially the future at Wisconsin and that's a good thing for any RB.

WR:  Hubert Something or another at Oklahoma State, Donovan Varner is a sleeper in Duke, Uzoma Nwachuku has serious skills.  This position is a tad thin for my liking but they can produce and that's all you need.

TE:  Drake Dunsmore can't really do more at Northwestern.  They are going to try to run more but last year their leading back had like 350 yards rushing so that means the ball could be in the air a lot again at Nerd U.  Drake is a fine target and a lock for 5+ TD's.

K:  Phillip Welch has a big leg and just needs to work on his accuracy.  UW scored over 30 points a gameish last year and have 10 returning starters.  I don't think scoring will be a problem this year.

D/ST:  Cherns loves speed and athletes and Florida has a ton of them.  He doesn't care what they do in their down time and they don't even have to be smart either.  As long as they run to the football and tackle when they get there, they are good to go.  Florida is one of the best in the nation at doing this.. heck, they are led by former Crass #1 High School pick.. Will Hill.  Small world.

Worst Case:  The WR's remain question marks and the Florida defense is all ineligible.  He's going to get points from the QB and RB spots regadless, so the WR has to be the main worry here.

Best Case:  Hubert Whatever becomes Dez Bryant and Donovan Varner wakes the Cameron Crazies to enjoy football at Duke.  Cherns is running his mouth again and back on top of the league fighting for his first title.

Overall:  Has to be considered a league favorite with the depth at RB and QB.  If any positive production comes from the WR's, he should be a title type team and end the regular season with 10-12 wins.  I hate to say it, but it's true.
