Classic Brett Favre!

Boy, this Brett Favre character really knows how to play with a man's heart.  He's there, he's not, he's back, he's not, he's done for good.. PSYCH!  He really isn't done, NOT!  He is done!  Today is opposite day, he's back!  This is a legendary performance and my man, Brett, hasn't even taken the field yet.  I'm so psyched; my friend called me that day.. and all I could think was they're baaaa-ack.  Except instead of zombies, it was DB's screaming.

This is the greatest thing ever for us, few Brett Favre apologists out there.  Wisconsin is filled with Packers fever, somehow jumping on the Ted Thompson is genius bandwagon, despite the offensive line from Little Giants still starting in Lambeau.  Regardless, the Favre apologists out there are estatic that he's taking the field for such a hated rival.  I can't wait to see him in purple; I'm even thinking of getting myself a nice little Favre Vikings jersey for my return trips home.  I am strongly considering making my way down to St. Louis to catch one of The Legend's games; never been to an NFL game outside of Lambeau.  Wouldn't that be a nice first?  To see the superstar that helped put Green Bay on the map slinging the rock around for the Vikings, racking up TD's and watching Adrian Peterson go banannas.

And to the Favre haters out there, especially you in Wisconsin, get over it.  Face the facts; BOTH sides played the issue wrong, I still think ol' Wrangler Brett is keeping some truth inside.  I think Teddy Thompson wanted to run the ol' boy out of town and put his stamp on the franchise, and right now Green Bay fans are only blaming Brett.  How else can you understand their constant crying and whining about him?  How he hurt his legacy?  I know one thing for sure, and that's that Brett Favre could care less about what a bunch of no talent, hack whiners think about his legacy.  The Legend put Green Bay back on the football map.  Did you forget this?  Or this? (yes, it's a loss, yet.. where did the loss occur?)  Or maybe this

Don't forget who he was.  Don't forget where he took the Packers.  Don't forget why you became a fan and what you thought of him when he was in the green and gold.  He's still Brett Freakin' Favre, and he's still The Legend.  That's why I'm still cheering for him, today and tomorrow... and Monday night against the Packers in Lambeau.

One, two, three, favre, five.
