"Gator Meat is on the Menu!"
Ok Dawg fans lets look over the LSU game. I have to say that my predictions have been right on and I couldn’t be happier. Knowshon had another game for over 160 yards rushing. A.J. Green had a great game along with Matthew Stafford. Stafford got the player of the game completing 17 of 26 passes for 249 yards with 3 touchdowns 2 from the air 1 on the ground. Moreno broke out two huge runs one for 46 yards and the other for 68. This was truly the game we have been waiting for all year. LSU is no joke by any means and we went out there and ripped them limb from limb. We probably faced the toughest running back (Charles Scott) coming out of the LSU backfield. This guy was a full grown man carrying the ball and laying hits. Don’t get me wrong this guy is no Knowshon Moreno however he was a great back with power and speed. Derryl Gamble came away with two interceptions in the game taking both back to the house for a touchdown. Reshad Jones also came away with a pick. I believe that some of the best play though was from the guys you don’t even think about. The offensive line looked great against a very tough LSU defensive. They were giving Stafford time to throw and Moreno holes to run through. It was a great game and we need to carry that momentum into the Florida game because this is the toughest part of our year.
Lets jump to Georgia vs. Florida pregame.
Both teams are coming into the game with huge wins in the past few weeks. This game will definitely impact who goes to the SEC championship and very well who goes to the National Championship game. This a must win for the Dawgs more than most other games. This is always the biggest game of the year for both teams. We need to do just like we did with LSU. We need to score early and make them try and catch us. Florida can be very lethal if they get the lead early in the game. In the last two games that Florida has played their Special Teams play has been outstanding giving them a 14-point lead within 5mins of the game. Blocked punts and punts returned. I don’t think we need to give them a chance to return the ball. We need to kick it as far as we can and out of bounds. Our pressure on Tebow will be critical. We put him on the ground so many times last year it made him cry before the game was over. We need to continue that because the “GAYTORS” have not been running Tebow like they did last year and have been trying to utilize their other weapons such as Percy Harvin. But as you know I am no fan of Tebow throwing the ball because the way I see it Tim Tebow is a good fullback who has an average arm. Nothing more.
Georgia needs to come out the gates throwing the ball. Because Florida’s secondary is the weakest part of their defense. And when they try to protect against the pass we throw Knowshon the rock on a toss sweep and let him carry it up field. I don’t expect another celebration from the Dawgs or even from Florida however emotions will be high in this make or break game. Well Dawg Fans that’s all for now. But come 3:30pm in Jacksonville Florida I will be in the stadium waiting for the Georgia Bulldogs to have some gator meat! GO DAWGS !
